Travel on the Bicester Link is exceptional value for money. We have a range of ticket types, all of which are explained here to help you
choose the right ticket. Individual fares from each station are given on the
station pages in 'The Route' section.
Singles and Returns

Off-peak tickets are the best value for money tickets, and are valid on less busy trains. In general, off-peak tickets are valid on trains
departing after 0900 Monday to Friday, and all trains at weekends.

If you need to travel on trains for which off-peak tickets are not valid, you'll need an anytime ticket.

Advance tickets offer huge reductions on normal single or return ticket prices.
Regular travel
Season tickets
Season tickets are the best value for money if you use the train regularly.
If you make the same journey more than three or four times a week you may find
that season tickets offer better value for money compared to buying daily
tickets.
Season tickets are valid for unlimited travel on all trains and are available for periods of 7 days, one month, or any duration between one month and one year. You need
a National Rail photocard in order to buy a season ticket, which are available free of charge from any ticket office - you'll just need to hand the
clerk a passport sized photo. All season tickets can be bought from a ticket office, and 7 day season tickets can also be bought from self-service ticket
machines provided you already have a photocard.
Yearly season tickets for travelling between Bicester Town, Islip and Oxford, and for most journeys wholly within the south-east (see map)
are issued as an "Annual Gold Card". This gives extra benefits to holders and
anyone travelling with them, including reduced price journeys within the
south-east and low cost First Class upgrades after 1000 hours on weekdays and
anytime at weekends.
Carnet tickets
Carnet tickets are the perfect way to save time and money if you travel often but not every day
A Carnet is 10 return tickets for the price of 9. Each ticket can be used to make a
return journey on any day during a one month period. Carnets
are available in both "off-peak" and "anytime" versions, and are available between selected stations including Bicester Town and Oxford, and Islip and Oxford. Carnet
tickets can be bought on the train (if boarding at Bicester Town or Islip), or from the ticket office at Oxford station.
